Leisure World residents, their families, and guests are invited to attend the annual July 4 Car Show and Craft Fair on Saturday, July 4, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Clubhouse 4 and Veterans Plaza.

The Independence Day event will feature a classic car show, a craft fair, food vendors, and live entertainment. Residents will have the opportunity to view a variety of classic and specialty vehicles while enjoying the holiday gathering.

The classic car show is presented with support from the Silver Fox Classic Car Club.

Entertainment will be provided by Mark Barnett and The Black & White Knights. Barnett is known for performing the music of Roy Orbison along with popular hits from the 1950s and 1960s.

Food and refreshments will be available for

Art League members Linda Fry-Singer and Elizabeth Kennedy at the 2024 Classic Car and Craft Show. This year's event will be held at Veterans Plaza and Clubhouse 4. purchase from Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, Baby’s Burgers OC, Koffel’s, and Scooter’s Italian Ice.

The craft show will be located inside Clubhouse 4, hosted by nine of GRF’s artisan clubs offering their one-of-a-kind creations for sale while the car show, live entertainment, food vendors and additional activities will be held throughout Veterans Plaza and the surrounding outdoor areas.

Be sure to stop by their tables at the food truck circle to welcome them.

The GRF Transportation Department will operate a continuous shuttle service from the Amphitheater and Optum Health Care Center parking lots to Clubhouse 4 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

No event parking will be available at Clubhouse 3, Clubhouse 4 or Veterans Plaza on the day of the event.

Residents are encouraged to use the shuttle service.
