Community Karaoke

Last week’s Community Karaoke Club featured a birthday celebration for the popular and vivacious Mariza Jouquin, who treated everyone to a delicious Mexican feast. Birthday hugs were also plentiful for Marie Garcia, a faithful audience member.

The July 1 karaoke party will celebrate the USA with a lively country-western theme. Dust off those cowboy hats and join members for some down-home fun and music.

Thirty-seven karaoke enthusiasts entertained June 17. Anna Lam sang a lovely French tune, while Bob Barnum’s lively selection had folks dancing. Fannie Noble delivered a beautiful ballad, and Frank Miller did a fine job with “Drift Away.”

Karaoke practice sessions are held Mondays from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6. Everyone is also welcome to the weekly karaoke parties in Clubhouse 1 on Wednesdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
