Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra
The Velvetones will perform Sunday, June 21, at 6 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. The group performs big band swing and jazz standards under the direction of Jeff Plum.
This summer, the GRF Transportation Department will provide shuttle transportation to and from the GRF Weekend Dances from June-August. When a resident is ready for a ride, they can call 562472-1367. A shuttle will be dispatched to pick up the resident at that time. Passengers can be picked up anywhere in Leisure World. The requested location for a pickup must be where the resident can see the approaching bus and the driver of the bus can see the resident. Last shuttle departure for a return ride home will be at 9:20 p.m.
