Get Permission Prior to Modifying Unit

Residents must obtain approval from their Mutual before making any modifications to their unit, particularly those involving plumbing, electrical systems or other building infrastructure. The approval process can be initiated through the GRF Physical Property Department.

Recently, the Physical Property Department has been made aware of several instances in which residents hired unapproved vendors to install products, such as bidets, without first obtaining the required authorization.

In one case, a resident was required to remove a leased bidet after an inspection determined that it had been installed using substandard materials without permission. As a result, the resident incurred a $400 early termination fee from the bidet leasing company.
