Humanist Association

The Leisure World Humanist Club will meet on Sunday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m., Clubhouse 3, Room 1, with guest speaker Robert Richert.

Richert will discuss an important issue to the club with a presentation titled “How can Humanists and Freethinkers Effectively Communicate Their Messages?”

Humanism is a positive philosophy that affirms the dignity of all people and advocates for universally accepted values. Humanist and Freethought organizations are working hard to bring their message to the greater public and dispel negative myths about their beliefs. However, the responsibility also rests upon each person at the local level. Richert, with the aid of PowerPoint, will offer insights and advice about how individual club members can help to advance the cause. Richert has been involved with the Freethought movement for over 40 years.
