Congregation Sholom will host comedian Steve Mittleman on Sunday, May 31, at 4 p.m., in Clubhouse 4. Mittleman’s comedy routines, which are hilarious and “squeaky” clean, will be performed for Congregation Sholom’s 63rd anniversary fundraiser.

He has performed as a standup comedian for 40 years, appearing over 100 times on TV shows and sitcoms, plus worked in movies with Steve Martin in “Roxanne” and with Woody Allen in “Radio Days.” He has also appeared on iconic TV shows like “The Tonight Show” featuring both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno as well as the “Late Show with David Letterman.” Mittleman began his career in 1980 winning the Big Laff-Off on Showtime, which opened the doors for him to appear on many shows an comedy programs.

Mittleman has also worked alongside comedy legends such as Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Romano, Drew Carey, Ellen DeGeneres, Roseanne Barr and Bill Maher.
