Golden Age Foundation receives funding from sponsor

Representatives from Seal Beach Cornerstone Church, Senior Pastor Peter Kang, Congregation Committee Chair Jong Ok Kim and Elder Chang Mu Im, presented a $1,000 donation to the Golden Age Foundation (GAF). The money will go toward the GAF’s multicultural event on July 18 in the Amphitheater.

The 90-minute event will showcase the beauty of the diversity of cultures in Leisure World. The GAF hopes this event will bring neighbors closer and discover the diverse cultural background of Leisure World residents.

SB Cornerstone Church has been a consistent donor to the GAF and recently celebrated its 16 anniversary in Leisure World.

Church services are held on Sundays in Clubhouse 2 at 9:45 a.m.

The GAF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to serving LW residents through various programs and projects for free. All GAF programs are provided free to residents. It is entirely staffed by resident volunteers.
