Concerned Shareholders

The Concerned Shareholders Club will meet May 28, at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. All are welcome to attend.

Members extend sincere thanks to GRF President Linda Herman for serving as guest speaker at the April meeting. The lively discussion focused on helping shareholders better understand the distinction between GRF and Mutual policies. One helpful “rule of thumb” shared during the meeting was “one governs where we recreate, and one governs where we live.” This practical explanation sparked meaningful conversation and helped clarify an issue that often causes confusion.

Members also discussed the value of obtaining a Leisure World map, available at the LW Weekly News office. The map was recommended as a useful resource for identifying the location of every Mutual, as well as GRF facilities and buildings throughout the community.

The Concerned Shareholders continues to encourage education, participation, and informed involvement on issues affecting the community.

The club encourages all shareholders to participate in shaping the future of the community.
