Resident-made web series wins at Los Angeles Film Awards

Leisure World residents and producers Mike and Vida Simpson are thrilled to announce that “The Goodyears”—the beloved web-based television sitcom featuring Leisure World residents Adrianne Rosenfeld and Eric Nelson as comedic leads, with Chris and Jon Russell in supporting roles—was honored with the Best Web Series Award from the Los Angeles Film Awards in March, for Episode 4, “Vacation Visitors.”

This homegrown gem streams regularly on Seal Beach TV Channel 3 and YouTube. Episode 5 has just been completed and will be streaming soon. “Tune in, laugh along, and join us in celebrating this incredible achievement,” wrote Simpson. “Leisure World is on the map, and ‘The Goodyears’ are just getting started!”
