Taco plate presale opens; skip the line with a taco fast pass

Leisure World residents are invited to celebrate Cinco De Mayo on Tuesday, May 5, in Clubhouse 1 with an evening of festive food and live entertainment. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., with live music from 5-7.

Guests can enjoy a two taco plate (choices: carne asada, chicken, carnitas, fish or veggie) from Taco Surf, served with rice and beans for $10. For those looking to complete the experience, a 16-ounce virgin margarita on the rocks is also available for $5.

In order to skip the line, “FAST PASS” pre-sale food tickets are strongly encouraged. Food tickets will be available for purchase at the Recreation Office.

Providing the evening’s entertainment will be Mariachi Tierra Mia, a Los Angeles-based ensemble known for their vibrant performances and musical excellence. Established in 2017, the coed group blends traditional mariachi with modern influences and has performed at venues around the world. Their accomplishments include being featured in the New York Times, recording with T.I., performing alongside Los Tigres del Norte and producing a sold-out concert at the Ford Theatre.
