Arirang Club meets Sundays at 5 p.m. in Mirror Room

The LW Arirang Club meets Sundays at 5 p.m. in the Mirror Room, located upstairs in Clubhouse 6, to learn how to play traditional Korean musical instruments, including the drum and janggu.

Classes are taught by Mutual 15 resident Young Park, who brings over 35 years of teaching and performing experience.

The club welcomes new members. This is an opportunity to explore a new cultural experience while benefiting one’s emotional and physical well-being. It’s also a great way to socialize and connect with others.

“Arirang” is a song that tells a timeless tale of love, separation, and the longing for reunion. Its poignant lyrics and haunting melody express universal themes of sorrow, love and hope.
