Seal Beach residents joined a historic wave of national protests during the “No Kings” day of action on March 28. Local engagement began with a morning rally at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street before moving to the heart of the community for a demonstration at the Leisure World globe, with nearly 300 residents and friends.
Organized by the LW Democratic Club and the Seniors for Peace Club, in alignment with Indivisible, people gathered to voice their opposition to executive overreach and autocratic policies.
The demonstration under the globe served as a powerful local echo of what has become one of the largest protest movements in U.S. history. The event highlighted a seamless link between national advocacy and the dedicated spirit of the Seal Beach community, reaffirming a shared commitment to Democratic principles and nonviolent advocacy.
Over 8 million people participated in peaceful demonstrations for the No Kings event.
