1929-2026 Robert “Bob” Dodson was born Jan. 3, 1929. He died on March 19, 2026, at Grace Blossom Care in Lakewood, California. He was 97.

Until the last few years, Bob was very active. He enjoyed table tennis, the Photography club, the Theater Club, the Doo Wop Singers and was a founding member of the original Leisure World Cabaret Entertainers. He loved karaoke.

Bob is survived by his wife, Susan; son Ivan, and step-daughter Julie.

A funeral service will be on Friday, April 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn, Cypress, Church of Our Fathers. A reception will immediately follow at the Dodson Home, 1320 Kenwood Road, 158A, Seal Beach. Call or text for details at 562-279-5282.
