LW Men’s Golf Club

A cloudy and overcast morning greeted 48 players of the LW Men’s Golf Club on March 25 at the Turtle Lake Golf Course.

Twenty-five of the 48 men scored net at or under par. There were 59 birdies and nine circle holes. Closest to the pin on hole No. 8 was Young J. Kim and on No. 17 it was Ron Steele.

Low net score for the round was Steele, 13 under 4; Mike Fennessy, 8 under 46; Bob Barnum, 5 under 48, and several golfers at 5 under 49.

A flight winners (handicaps of 0-6): Fujio Norihiro, Kevin Childress and Trai Nguyen, first place; Jae Choi, Bob Johnston, and Bill Lyons, second; Seon Kim and Dong On Kim, third.

B flight winners (handicaps of 7-12): Barnum, first place; Dave LaCascia and Young J. Kim, second; Alan Sewell and Young Lee, third: Steve Walker and Seung Lee, fourth.

C flight winners (handicaps of 13-18): Steele, first place; Fennessy, second; Rueban Garcia and Scott Tuchfarber, third; Paul Shellenberger, Todd Chidchester and Mark Tal, fourth; John Burns, fifth; Daniel Mahoney and Darry Hotten, sixth.
