Karaoke Club
Karaoke every Wednesday night from 5:30-9:30 in Clubhouse 1 is a lively gathering filled with music, laughter and friendly faces.
On March 18, Nancy Fitch, joined by her daughter Lucy, had great fun with “Sixteen Tons.”
Ren Villineauva—who delighted the crowd by introducing himself as a Filipino leprechaun—gave a heartfelt rendition of “Danny Boy.” David Noble invited everyone to join in with “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” Geoff Davies, with his charming English accent, brought extra flair to “MacNamara’s Band.” Adding to the festive night, 80 people enjoyed traditional corned beef sandwiches.
Anyone who’d like to give karaoke a try—or polish a favorite tune—is invited to attend the club’s practice sessions, held every Monday from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6.
