LW Scrabble Club plays Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets on Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5.

The club met on the last two weeks in February and on the first two weeks in March. There were 26 scores above 300 and 16 bingos. In addition, there were three totals in three-way games that were equivalent to a 400 in a two-way game.

Diane Seeger led with eight scores above 300, with a range from 304-399. Larry Edgar topped 300 four times and had a score of 297 in a three-way game. The latter is equivalent to a 445 in a two-way game. He had five bingos and a range from 351-385.

Jim Schneiderman bettered 300 four times, with three bingos. His score of 324 in a three-way game is equivalent to a 486. His range was from 308-446. Suthy Edgar exceeded 300 three times and had three bingos. Her range was from 325 -338. She had a 271—equivalent to a 406—in a three-way game.

Myrna Loscuadro and Kay Pushman each had two scores above 300. Their respective ranges were 320-325 and 308325. Loscuadro had one bingo.

Bob Ruderman, Sylvia Makus and Sue Ann Gass had totals of 329, 341 and 326 respectively. Ruderman posted three bingos. Makus had one bingo. — Larry Edgar
