America First Republican Club

The America First Republican Club will meet Wednesday, March 18, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, with the social time starting at 4:30 p.m. and the business meeting beginning at 5. This month members are asked to bring their favorite snack to share. Visitors or prospective members are always welcome.

The club’s mission is to educate, engage, and activate members in their duty as citizens to not only vote but work to elect likeminded candidates to local, state and federal offices. These efforts also include electing candidates for good governance on Mutual and GRF Boards.

The months of May and June are election season for Leisure World’s governing bodies. The GRF Board members from evennumbered Mutuals and all Mutual Boards have directors that are up for election. The quality of this community is a direct result of the Mutuals and GRF presidents elected to serve their fellow shareholders. Those who are interested in serving on the GRF Board from an even-numbered Mutual have until March 26 to file their candidacy. See page 5 for more information.
