Sharon Lee Lay, 66, of Seal Beach, California, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 15, 2026, in the comfort of her loving husband. She was born on July 18, 1959, in San Pedro, California.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff Lay; her daughters, Shoshana and Jasmine; her son-in-law, Savitich; her cherished grandchildren, Leonardo, Vladimir, Khristian, and Aven; and her beloved dog BeBe.
Sharon was, above all, a loving wife and extraordinary grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she affectionately called them “booshka.” Their laughter and milestones brought her immense joy, and her love for them outweighed everything.
She was known for her lively spirit and strong yet nurturing personality. Compassionate and generous, Sharon was always willing to help a neighbor in need. She had a playful sense of humor, and family will fondly remember her joking about her “shooting missiles” noises from years past.
She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and reality shows like Below Deck, reading a good book, and spending time with family. She attended church regularly and carried a quiet faith in God.
After suffering a stroke, Sharon battled stage four lung cancer that spread to her bones and brain. She lived courageously and passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
