Pepperdine University researchers will attend Velvetones dance

The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra returns to Clubhouse 4 on Sunday, March 1, at 6 p.m. Pepperdine University researchers Dr. Doreen Shanahan and Dr. Jillian Alderman will be at the sign-in table. LW residents are invited to participate in their important research study. Answering the survey questions will only take a few minutes.

The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra is Leisure World’s own professional big band, playing big band swing and jazz standards. The band plays at Clubhouse 4 on the first and third Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. They’ll be back on March 15.
