Congregation Sholom

Congregation Sholom will host a potluck dinner prior to services on Friday, Feb. 27, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, at 5 p.m. A sign up sheet has been sent to members. The service, conducted by Rabbi Mike Mymon, will follow the dinner at 6:30 and will also be available on Zoom. Rabbi Mymon will also lead the service on Saturday, Feb. 28, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom at 10 a.m.

The Torah reading will be Tetzaveh from Deuteronomy. Tetzaveh (You Shall Command) opens as God instructs Moses to appoint Aaron and his sons as priests. God details how to make the priestly clothing, how to sanctify the priests and offer sacrifices during the seven days of inauguration in the Mishkan (Tabernacle), and how to build the golden altar.
