First Christian Church
First Christian Church of Leisure World teaches from God’s word, the Holy Bible, verse by verse. It is a friendly church that welcomes all visitors to join in worship and explore God’s word together, “That we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine,” Romans 1:12.
Pastor’s Message
The Apostle Paul writes about what the Christian life should look like as believers live for Christ. The foremost attribute is love, but love without hypocrisy.
Christians are to be devoted to one another in brotherly love giving preference to one another in honor without lagging behind in service with a fervent Spirit, serving the Lord.
They should bless those who persecute and not be haughty in mind or wise in their own estimation. They should be devoted to prayer, rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, and whenever possible, be at peace with all men.
Weekly Services
Sunday services are held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. and are traditional with hymnal music led by Janet Ray with Sherry Parmenter at the piano. This week, Kevin and Angela Billing will bring the special music.
Saturday services from 9:3010:45 a.m. include contemporary songs of worship, led by Gregory Black with guitar and vocal accompaniment.
Midweek Studies
Melli Herrera leads the Monday Bible Study from 10:3011:30 a.m.
Pastor Bruce Humes leads the Thursday Bible Study from 10:3011:30 a.m. and the Friday Prayer and Bible Study from 4-5 p.m.
All residents are welcome to attend any service or Bible study.

“But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love,” 1 Corinthians 13:13.
