Learn about Parkinson’s household modifications Feb. 17 in HCC

Parkinsons Support Group will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m., in Optum Health Care Center Boardwalk Conference Room.

Guest speaker Steve Retallick will talk about how household modifications can make a difference for someone living with Parkinsons disease. Small changes like ramps, threshold ramps, railings, grab bars, and toilet seat risers can make a big difference in preventing falls and help people remain independent and move around with confidence.

Everyone is welcome to attend. No RSVP required. For more information, contact GRF Member Resources Liaison Robann Arshat at 562-431-6586, ext. 2317.
