Garden Club Trip: Academy Museum

Tickets for the Garden Club’s Feb. 25 trip to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles go on sale Feb. 16 in Clubhouse 2 at 11 a.m. The tickets will cost $65, nonrefundable. The price does not include lunch.

The group will be spend the morning at the museum, and then be picked up to have lunch at a farmer’s market, a short distance from the museum. There are more 35 cafes within the market. Both the museum and market are handicap-friendly.

People will have plenty of time to eat and explore. The museum features many exhibits, including costumes, special effects and directors’ specialties. The group will return to LW around 4 p.m. For more information, call Elaine Lee at 714-365-9367.
