Table Tennis Club preps for demo event Feb. 19

The Table Tennis Club’s first membership drive was a success with close to 200 members renewing or joining the club during January.

The club is now preparing for its first demonstrations event to be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 4 p.m. in Clubhouse 6. The club has selected two coaches who are licensed and approved by Leisure World to help members improve their table tennis skills. The coaches, Jin Kim and Alex Heske, will be heading the demonstrations geared toward beginners as well as more advanced players. Members are encouraged to attend and take this opportunity to network with other players. Newcomers and beginners can also meet compatible partners to play with.

The next event, a table tennis tournament, is being planned for April.
