Senior Pastor Yong Jang-Young will deliver a sermon on true worship and the growth of God’s church on Feb. 8. During the last service, Pastor Yong delivered a sermon based on John 4:23–24, which emphasizes true worship that brings joy to God. He reminded the congregation that the growth of the church up to this point has been the work of God alone, and that God’s house is a place of worship where believers are a united family and members of God’s household.

Believers are members of the Lord’s body, and the church is firmly built upon the foundation of God’s truth and his word. Under God’s sovereign rule, the church is called to be a community that fulfills God’s will, seeks his presence and strives for spiritual growth and expansion.

Pastor Young emphasized God’s grace and the teachings of love demonstrated by Jesus. God’s grace overcomes the power of hell and affirms the biblical truth that what is bound on earth will be bound in heaven.

Those who accept God are granted the assurance of salvation. The congregation was urged to strengthen their faith, hold fast to heavenly hope, and join together to spread God’s gospel on earth, living as true worshippers of God.

Following the worship service, a congregational meeting was held with all members in attendance. The income and expenditure report for the past year was presented, and gratitude was expressed for the church’s continued growth. The financial budget plan for the current year was also announced, along with words of encouragement to cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving, strengthen faith, and dedicate the church’s efforts to fulfilling God’s will within the community.

LWKCC holds a Sunday worship at the sanctuary every Sunday at 11:30 to “plant God’s will in the ground,” and holds an early morning prayer service at the sanctuary led by the senior pastor at 6 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday.
