Johnny Cash tribute band to play Feb. 3

The Woman’s Club of Leisure World will meet Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Clubhouse 2 for an afternoon of friendship and entertainment. Doors open at 1 p.m., and the meeting starts at 1:30.

This month, the club will recognize Food Finders of Los Alamitos as its February donation recipient. Food Finders picks up food donations from local grocery stores, restaurants, schools and hospitals then distributes the food to shelters, food pantries and other nonprofits in the local area.

Following the presentation, people can enjoy light refreshments and the Jason Marshall “Ring of Fire” tribute band, who will entertain with the music of the legendary Johnny Cash. Western attire is welcome. For more information, call Lynn Baidack at 562-296-5342.
