LW Baptist Church will celebrate God’s goodness based on Moses’ message in Deuteronomy 1 on Sunday, Jan. 25, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

The law’s instruction was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. One of Christ’s early disciples, Philip said to his brother Nathanael “We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Later, Jesus stated, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.” Jesus continued, “For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me.”

Believer’s faith in every era must be fixed upon the Lord Jesus Christ, the everliving solid rock. Scripture says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
