Assembly of God
Few things in life are certain. The one sure thing Christ followers know for sure will never change is the fact that God is faithful. In times of celebration and abundance, God is faithful. In times of sorrow and lack, God remains faithful.
2 Timothy 2:11-13 invites believers to remember “The Faithfulness of God,” which is the title of Pastor Chuck Franco’s sermon this week. The people of LW Asssembly of God enjoy their new home in the lobby of Clubhouse 3 on Sunday mornings with for coffee, a sweet bite and fellowship before the morning’s service. There is plenty of room for anyone who has not yet found a church home.
This week, the Bible study delves into the fourth session of the “Book of James” study. The reading is James 2:1-13. The lesson reveals the parallels between the problems and attitudes of the early church and the contemporary church. James addresses prejudice of many kinds and the danger of judging one’s peers. Francis Chan’s video teaching is followed by student interaction and a closer look at the scripture.
Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
