LW Baptist Church
LW Baptist worship meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4. All are welcome to attend.
The church begins the new year with thankfulness to God for the church, the body of Christ, the pillar and ground of the truth.
After his conversion, the apostle Paul, who formerly was a persecutor of the Christians, wrote prolifically of his love for God’s people and the church.
Pouring out in his writings his open-hearted affection for all the churches, he urged them to strengthen one another in the faith.
Assemblies of Christian believers all have the same foundation: Christ.
They belong to one body; their common bond is the Spirit of God, and they have one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and father of all.
They are to pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding, to equip the saints for the work of ministry for the building up of the body of Christ. They have a mutual claim on one another’s love and loyalty, because they have learned to love from their Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. “We love,” says the apostle John, “because He first loved us.”
