Where We Live Club

The Where We Live Club congratulates and welcomes David Norvell, J.D., CMCA, AMS, PCAM, as Leisure World’s new executive director. His arrival marks an important moment for the community, and the club is excited to begin this new chapter under his leadership. All residents are welcome to attend the next Where We Live Club meeting featuring Norvell on Monday, Jan. 5, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, from 6-7 p.m. This will be an opportunity to hear Norvell’s vision, ask questions, and get to know the person guiding the community.

The Where We Live Club is actively preparing for the upcoming elections in even-numbered Mutuals by identifying strong candidates, increasing community awareness, and supporting campaign efforts. The club’s priority is electing individuals who put shareholder interests first and help prevent future increases. It is currently seeking shareholders with experience in business, finance, management, or organizational leadership—people willing to ask tough questions, uphold fiscal responsibility, and represent the community with integrity. Those who are ready to support accountable leadership are encouraged to consider running for a GRF Board seat. The club also provides guidance for prospective candidates.
