Sunshine Club will celebrate the holidays on Friday

The Sunshine Club’s holiday party is Friday, Dec. 19, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. The party is for people who have already prepaid for their meal. This will be the last class of the year. It is the Sunshine Club’s tradition to take a group holiday photo with members before the class begins to be given as a gift to members.

This year, the Sunshine Club invited many community leaders, administrative supervisors, and various professionals. To enhance the spirit of the holiday festivities, the club invited Nina DeRosa to perform holiday songs for members to listen or to sing along. The club is proud to sponsor the Golden Age Foundation’s (GAF) gift basket project by donating $1,500 to cover the expenses of 120 residents. In the last 14 years, the club has donated $11,970 to the GAF, including two benches with the club’s name.
