Mutual 3

• Richard Cangey, Mutual 3, 10-F, has displayed a collection of wintery bearded Santas, including one that looks like the real thing. They sit atop fluffy white “snow” in front of a decked-out Santa-themed Christmas tree.

• Lindsay and Dan Whipple, Mutual 3, 13-L, made good use of their end unit shared with neighbors Marcella and Jim Campbell, Mutual 3, 13A. The shared display features stand-up nutcracker soldiers, a lighted Christmas tree and light up peppermint sticks. Colorful hanging lights don the entire side of their unit, making for a large and eye-catching display.

• Mary Brown, Mutual 3, 3-L, has decorated her unit with a Christmas tree with sparkling lights, ferns with lights and lights on her home.

• Dennis Lavia, Mutual 3, 8-A, has a display featuring many inflatables.

• Lu DeSantis, Mutual 3, 23-L, added holiday cheer to her rock garden: “Half a dozen of Santa’s helpers have found places to hide in my garden and be on-call throughout the countdown to Christmas.”

Mutual 4

• Kay and Christine Harrison, Mutual 4, 82-C, strung icy fairy lights in their Cypress trees.

Mutual 5

• Ted and Jeri Nowell, Mutual 5, 96-A, have two large inflatables: a polar bear and a Santa Claus, plus 14 strings of multicolored lights on the apartment and patio. The pair is located on a corner, conveniently located for a festive drive-by.

Mutual 6

• Margo Wheeler and Gerry Austin, Mutual 6, 57-F, have a “dog-gone swell Christmas display,” they wrote. The unit features decorations selected by resident pups Albert and Rini: a light-up family of three dachshunds, a Snoopy and a large blow-up hound. A 7-foot lighted tree with heirloom ornaments sits inside.

Mutual 7

• Len McFadden, Mutual 7, 171-K, has an eye-catching light-up Christmas wreath, extra large holiday ornaments, white Christmas lights and tinsel garlands that look festive during the day and night.

• Deborah and David Naegle, Mutual 7, 171-J, decorated their front door with garland, color lights, ornaments, wreaths and poinsettias. The patio features lights, Santa, reindeer, ornaments, lighted Christmas presents and live Christmas cactuses. Their bay windows reveal four lit Christmas trees inside.

Mutual 9

• Pam and Bill Turner, Mutual 9, 207-L, have a beautiful and intricate Christmas village set up in their window. “The collection began in 1986 with the Dickens train station,” they wrote. “Then we began collecting the Department 56 North Pole series. This year, we completed the 12 Days of Christmas tree collection.”

Mutual 11

• Pamela Baker, Mutual 11, 264-L, decorated her unit with frosty white lighted snowflakes, a blow mold of Santa Claus’ face, gingerbread men, a lighted Snoopy mailbox, festive Christmas pillows and a lighted rainbow Christmas tree inside.

Mutual 12

• Stacy Gutierrez, Mutual 12, 7-B, has colorful lights and blow-up decorations of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys.

Mutual 14

• Mike and Sandy Tessier, Mutual 14, 12-D, are ready to reveal their snowman family window. “We invite Leisure World friends to walk or drive by and enjoy the magic of Christmas,” the two said.

• Deb and Haralds Berzajs, Mutual 14, 54-A, strung hanging icicle lights on their eaves and set up a border of light-up candy canes.

Mutual 15

• Devota Burrows, Mutual 15, 13-F, has decorated her hedges with colored lights and lights in the patio area. “My neighbors tell me it is very impressive,” Burrows wrote.

Mutual 17

• Jacklyn Taylor and Miriam Tomaroy, and Liz Meripol, Mutual 17, 88-A and 102-B, are three peas in a pod. With units on top of each other, the pair of patios sparkle with bright rainbow and frosty white iciclestyle lights. “We are on the right hand side when leaving through the Main Gate,” Meripol wrote. “Wishing everyone the happiest of holidays!”
