Democratic Club

The LW Democratic Club invites residents to a special festive celebration at its hospitality booth, today, Dec. 18, outside Clubhouse 6 between 9 a.m.noon. There will be eggnog and cookies.
While people enjoy the treats, the club’s friendly volunteers will be available to provide helpful support by quickly assisting with voter registration, changing an address, party affiliation updates or answering any questions. For more information about the booth, email Rachael Lehmberg at

The club’s regular monthly membership meeting has been canceled due to the holidays. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. People are invited to come early and bring lunch.
Residents can join the club at Hof’s Hut off Seal Beach Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month for food and conversations with other members. The next lunch will be on Jan. 7. For more information, email Debbie Wrathall at Debbiewrathall@mac.com.
The next Voter Education session is Jan. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. The club plans to make and send postcards and make calls to representatives and other government officials.
