Shuf. eboard holiday party is Dec. 13 in CH 3

Ahard working committee of club members has been busy planning for the Shuffleboard Club’s holiday party, to be held this Saturday, Dec. 13, from 5-9 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. The club will be supplying a ham for everyone’s enjoyment, while members will bring appetizers, salads, side dishes and desserts. The game Left Right Center will be played, so guests are reminded to bring three $1 bills and 12 quarters. There will be an opportunity drawing as well. Beautiful themed centerpieces and room decorations will enhance the festive atmosphere, provided by Sally Fowler. The committee members include Chair Vivian Ceballos, President Karen Mendon, Eileen Kotecki and Marlene Levy.

Despite reporting the season had ended in a previous edition, there was one additional Tuesday evening league match on Dec. 2 to officially polish off the fall season, with the following results: Team Karen beat Team Sally 8-4. All-game winners were Anne Calvo and Ellie West. Team Harold snuck by Team Bob 7-5. All-game winners were Sandy Derouin and Linda Evenson.
