RFID tags are deactivated if GRF decal expires
PARKING AND COMMUNITY ENTRY
The expiration date of the RFID tag located on your vehicle’s headlight is the same as the expiration date of the GRF decal displayed on your windshield.
In many cases, when an RFID tag does not activate the gate upon entry, it is due to an expired GRF decal on the vehicle.
Remember that a GRF decal authorizes a resident to park in their assigned carport and on Mutual property. It is not used for community entry.
Access to the community is granted either by a valid RFID tag on your vehicle or by presenting a valid GRF identification card.
To receive a decal, residents must present all of the following:
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Valid vehicle registration in the driver’s name.
• Valid proof of insurance.
• Valid GRF identification card.
The Decal Office is in Building C, near the Recreation Department Office. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; closed daily from noon-12:30 p.m. for lunch; and closed Sunday and Monday.
For more information, call the Decal Office at 562-4316586, ext. 2270.
