LW Men’s Golf Club membership dues are $15

It is time for LW Men’s Golf Club members and those who want to join the club to pay dues of $15 for the upcoming 2026 season. Players must be club members to participate in payouts.

The club’s Christmas party is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Dec. 20. Dave LaCascia and President Ron Steele will be available at all men’s league tournaments and the next general meeting on Jan. 7 for collection of dues and Christmas party tickets. Call Steele at 559-905-3296 for more information.

There were 46 players on Nov. 24 at the Turtle Lake Golf Course. Fujio Norihiro had a hole-in-one on the 87-yard par 3 seventh hole.

Eighteen of the 46 players scored net at or under par. There were 66 birdies and 12 circle holes. Closest to the pin on No. 8 was Fujio Norihiro at 0 inches, and on No. 17 it was Bill Lyons at 2 feet, 8 inches.

Low net score for the round was Rod Osgood at 9 under 45, followed by Norihiro and Dennis McMonigle at 8 under 46. Thomas Kim and Lyons shared low gross score of the round at 2 under 52.

A flight winners (handicaps of 0-5): Kim, first place; Ralph Koizumi, second; Bob Turner, third; Lyons, fourth; Young J. Kim, fifth; Kevin Childress, sixth; Pat Paternoster, seventh.

B flight winners (handicaps of 6-11): Norihiro and McMonigle, first place; James Farr and John Rudodky, second; Bruce Bowles, third; Rolando Ramirez, fourth; Joon Sup Yoon, fifth; Ron Steele, sixth.

C flight winners (handicaps of 12-18): Osgood, first place; Noe Alcaraz, second; Rueban Garcia, third; Kevin Lindstedt, Jon Russell and Orlando Sanchez, fourth; Steve Kang, fifth; Dennis Anctil, sixth.
