Automatic doors to be considered when replacements are required

Whenever a clubhouse’s doors are slated for replacement, GRF staff will now obtain a bid for installing automatic doors, following a policy change approved by the GRF Board on Nov. 25.

Although GRF staff has long requested cost estimates for automatic doors as a matter of practice, the board-approved motion formally establishes this procedure as official GRF policy.

Trust property is private property and therefore not required to adhere to ADA standards. However, board members widely agree that automatic doors are well-suited for Leisure World’s senior population.
