Monday Pool League

The Burners won the Monday night Pool League by beating RDS 9-4. Frank Sablan won six games for the Burners and teammate Jennifer Spindler won five. The Burners—John Burns, Frank Sablan and Jennifer Spindler—won 77 games and lost only 53.

The Renegades beat BG & E Electric 9-4. Steve Mitchell and Paul Ivanoff both won five games for the Renegades, including both their singles matches.

The Snow Bros beat the Hot Sticks 8-5. Ray Friedrichsen won five games, including all of his doubles matches. The Snow Bros ended the season tied with the Renegades at 67 wins. There was a one-game playoff to break the tie and determine who would play the second-place team. All three players on each team played one game of eight ball. Steve Edrich, playing for Ren Villenueva, made the eight ball. The Burners will meet the Renegades next week.

The final league night on Wednesday ended rather passively, with all three matches ending in a seven six score. Raising Cane beat Are You Chalking 2 Me, the Pocket predators edged The Favorites and the Three Lads beat On the Eight. However, this resulted in a tie for first place between Are You Chalking 2 Me and the 3 Lads. Each team ended the season with a record of 74 and 56. Are You Chalking 2 Me won the one game eight ball playoff and will meet the Burners in a first to seven points playoff between the two first place teams next Monday night. The Three Lads will face off against the Renegades in the second place playoff.
