LW Men’s Golf League

Fourteen golfers of the Leisure World Men’s Golf League competed at the 5,800-yard par 70 River View Golf Course on Nov. 3. There were eight birdies— four by Jim Goltra, and one each by Clay Fisher, Gary Stivers, Seon Kim and Sam Choi. Closest to the pin on the 150-yard par 3 second hole was Dave LaCascia, and Seon Kim was closest to the pin on the 100-yard ninth hole. Fisher had fewest putts for the A flight, and Tom Ross, in B.

A flight winners: Goltra,7 under 63, first place; Larry Hillhouse, 5 under 65, second; Kim and Fisher, 4 under 66, third; Kyle Van, 2 under 68, fourth; Stivers, 1 under 6, fifth; Jae Choi, Fujio Norihiro, Sam Choi and Dave LaCascia, sixth.

B flight winners: Won Park, 5 under 65, first place; Bruno Santillo and Dom Bautista, 3 under 67, second; Ross, 2 under 68, third; Mike Jimenez, fourth. Eight golfers challenged the 6,000-yard par 71 Willowick Golf Course on Nov. 10. There were three birdies, all by Jim Goltra. Fujio Norihiro was closest to the pin on the 140-yard par 3 fourth hole, and Sam Choi was closest on the 140-yard par 3 12th. Goltra had fewest putts in A flight.

A flight winners: Goltra, 1 under, first place; Sam Choi, even par, second; Norihiro, third; Gary Stivers, fourth; Jae Choi, fifth.
