First Christian Church

First Christian Church of Leisure World teaches from God’s word, the Holy Bible, most often verse by verse. It is a friendly church that welcomes all visitors to join in worship and explore God’s word together, “that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine,” Romans 1:12.

Pastor’s Message

Thanksgiving Day is a day set aside as a national holiday to give thanks for all God has blessed people with as a nation, families and individuals.

In Philippians 4:19, the apostle Paul wrote, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory.” All needs will be met by the God of creation. The psalmist in Psalm 100 wrote about how to give thanks for all God has done: “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing, know that the Lord, he is God; it is he who made us, and not we ourselves; we are the people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations.”
