American Ballet Theatre will perform ‘The Nutcracker’

Experience the magic of the holidays with the American Ballet Theatre’s dazzling production of “The Nutcracker,” performed with the Pacific Symphony at Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa on Thursday, Dec. 18.
Tickets are on sale now online and in person at the Recreation Office. The cost is $75 per person, which includes both show admission and transportation. Seating is limited. Those interested are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible.
The bus will depart from the Amphitheater bus area at 6 p.m. Arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. to check in. Participants must present a valid GRF ID and a signed waiver form, unless one is already on file.
Now celebrating its 10th season at Segerstrom Center, this holiday favorite returns with an acclaimed production choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky. Enjoy breathtaking performances by the American Ballet Theatre’s world-class dancers, stunning sets and costumes by Tony Award winner Richard Hudson, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed live by the Pacific Symphony.
Follow young Clara on her enchanting Christmas Eve adventure, where a mysterious gift transforms into a magical dream filled with dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
