Presidents’ Council Meeting Recap

THE PRESIDENTS’ COUNCIL Clubhouse 4 and Zoom Tele-Video Conference

The regular monthly meeting of the Presidents’ Council of Leisure World Seal Beach was convened at 1:30 p.m. by President Rich Carson on Nov. 5, in Clubhouse 4 and via Zoom tele-video conference, and YouTube Live.

The following is a recap:

• Presidents’ Council meeting minutes of Oct. 1, 2025, were approved by the Council to stand as written.

• GRF President Linda Herman provided an update on the GRF 2026 Budget and Reserve Study. President Herman advised that there was a total increase of 5.34% over the 2025 budget. She also provided an update on continuous GRF projects.

• Senior Director of Facilities Mark Weaver provided an update on the GRF pavement project, bids on speed humps and speed cushions, Fenn contract expiration on May 31, 2026, and an update on sewer cleaning contract.

• SeniorDirectorofMutualAdministrationJodiHopkinsprovided an update on the Stock Transfer Escrow report and Mutual Administration Annual Election Timelines.

• The Council’s December meeting is canceled.

• The next meeting is on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at Clubhouse 4, Zoom Tele-Video Conference and YouTube Live.
