LW Birthday

Joy Azurin turned 70 in October. She wanted very much to celebrate her birthday with people dear to her, like her relatives and friends. She is an amiable person with a well-rounded personality and easy to get along with. She helps people in need and treats them like family. She sings like a pro and is an accomplished dancer. It is how she met her husband—they were both members of a band. She is a real entertainer.

When Azurin makes up her mind to do something, she never stops until it is done. She prayed almost every night for her wish to be granted. Things began to unfold for her: GRF approved her request to use Clubhouse 2 for her venue on the date she wanted; her relatives and friends began to RSVP and provided their assistance every step of the way; two DJs, not one, agreed to provide the music; and finally, she was fortunate to have a friend like Terry Lee, a professional venue decorator, help make her dream come true.

The program was perfectly executed and everybody was entertained by Azurin’s line dancing and singing performances. The food was plentiful, with a succulent roasted pig on the table to complete the meal.

Given one moment in time, Azurin got her wish. She, her relatives, and friends will remember this day for a long time.
