Last donation event of the year will be on Dec. 13

GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION

The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will host the final Salvation Army donation drive of the year on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Amphitheater parking lot.

This bi-monthly event provides residents a convenient venue to drop off donations and save shareholders money since it cuts down on expensive haul-away costs for items that were previously disposed of at the 1.8-Acre site. The collection bags will be put out two weeks before the collection date. The bags will be available in Clubhouses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, plus the LW Library and LW Weekly offices beginning on Nov. 28, The Salvation Army accepts donations of clean, gently used, household items including clothing, bedding, kitchenware, small appliances and electronics, toys, sporting goods, books, art, home decor and small and medium furniture.
