KARAOKE CLUB

It was a spooky and fun night at the Karaoke Club’s Oct. 29 karaoke party celebrating Halloween. Witches and skeletons were abundant as everyone enjoyed festive treats. Every costume won a prize for creativity and spirit.

Flo and Bruce Lee impressed with their dramatic performance of “Phantom of the Opera.” Lori Chamberlain got the crowd clapping and singing along with “The Addams Family” theme song. Haunting tunes were a treat performed by Karen Morris, David Noble, Dotti Brooks, Elizabeth Butterfield, Sally Glausser and Rodney Schaerer.

The lovely voice of newcomer Joyce Brannon pleased the audience while Marvin Rolnick energized the room with his rousing rendition of “Hundred Pounds of Clay.” Carmen and Manuel Burgos also delighted the audience with their performances.

Clubhouse 1 is filled with laughter and music each Wednesday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Some folks come to the Monday practice sessions in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. to find their key range, select a song rendition or just to try karaoke singing for the first time. Everyone is welcome.
