LW Baptist will meet on Sunday, Nov. 9, for worship at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4.

LW Baptist will focus on reminders of God’s mercy when the congregation sings, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, on which the prince of Glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and poor contempt on all my pride.”

The Apostle Paul’s conversion story is in the book of Acts. Paul wrote about half of the New Testament. He also gives an account of his life two or three times in the book of Acts, and additionally alludes to his new life in various of his epistles. In 2 Corinthians, he recounts personal adventures, troubles and experiences recorded nowhere else. Paul describes himself as formerly a very proud man, but Jesus Christ changed his life. He says, “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.”
