Operation Christmas Child gift drive will be Nov. 13-17

Leisure World’s Redeemer Lutheran and St. Theodore of Canterbury Episcopal churches will host an Operation Christmas Child gift drive in the community for Samaritan’s Purse from Nov. 13-17.

Beginning now, people can sign up by choosing to sponsor a boy or girl in the age range of 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 years old. People can then fill their own shoebox (or pick one up from the church) with items such as one larger toy and smaller things like toothbrushes, pens, pencils, combs, brushes, notebooks, calculators, hair accessories, stuffed animals, jump ropes and dolls.

Once the box is filled, turn it in to Redeemer Lutheran at 13565 St. Andrews Drive Nov. 13-17.

The congregation will turn in boxes for distribution after Nov. 17. Monetary donations are also accepted.
