North Gate and nearby buildings will be closed Monday, Nov. 3

PLANNED POWER OUTAGE

The North Gate and surrounding buildings—including the LW Library, Friends of the Library Bookstore and clubhouses 3 and 4—will be closed Monday, Nov. 3, due to a scheduled power outage.

There will be no entry or exit at the North Gate. The security shack will be closed.

Southern California Edison crews will begin replacing a utility pole on Northwood Road beginning at 7 a.m. Expect a complete road closure at Mutual 11, Carport 125 to Shawnee Lane. This project was originally scheduled for Sept. 9 but had to be postponed.

On the same day, construction crews will conduct asphalt repairs around clubhouses 3 and 4, mainly in the parking lots and on the North Gate exit road.

This work was scheduled to coincide with the power outage to minimize impact to residents. Work is expected to be completed by the end of that day, but inclement weather could affect the project timeline.

The Main Gate and St. Andrews Gate will remain open and operational.
