Karaoke Club Karaoke Club

Every Wednesday in Clubhouse 1 is lively with music, laughter and friendship during the Karaoke Club’s weekly karaoke nights, held on Wednesdays from 5:30-9:30.

The audience encourages shy singers and seasoned performers alike. On Oct. 22, Stephanie Burkland delivered a fine pop favorite, “Be My Baby.” The catchy beat of Mariza Jouquin’s tune kept people tapping their feet.

David Noble had fun with “Witchy Woman” while Joan Rosenberg showed her love of The Beatles. Frank Farmer was eager to sing “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me Baby.”

Bob Barnum treated the audience with an old folk song. Wayne Urban humored the group with a gusty “Busted.” It was another packed house with 41 folks to entertain the group.

A big pot of tasty soup prepared by Danna Sanders was a delightful surprise for hungry folks.

The club’s popular karaoke practice sessions are held Mondays from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6. Everyone is welcome.
