EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL

Orange County Fire Authority’s Elizabeth Denney will be featured at the Emergency Information Council’s speaker series on Monday Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9.

Denney has been a community educational specialist at the OCFA for over five years. She serves as community liaison to the communities of Garden Grove, Seal Beach, Westminster and Los Alamitos, where she builds relationships at schools, non-profits, city staff and neighborhood organizations. In her talk she will provide an overview of OCFA’s emergency response procedures as they relate to the different types of disaster events such as floods and fires. Lithium-ion battery fires have become more of interest recently as they infiltrate many parts of people’s lives.

She completed a bachelor of arts degree in communications and public affairs at California State University, Chico in 2019.
